According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, about one in five adults and teens have dealt with mental illness, and one in 25 adults have had to cope with a mental illness serious enough to interfere with a major life activity. But whether through personal experience, in our circle of friends and family, or in our wider community, behavioral health issues affects all of us. Our communities are only as healthy and strong as the individuals who live in them.
As one of the largest behavioral health providers in Thurston, Mason and Grays Harbor counties, Behavioral Health Resources has been working diligently to help people live healthy lives since 1956. But we can't do it alone! While our services are mostly funded through Medicaid, we raise much needed funds for expenses that are not covered: books for groups, clothes or help with heating bill for clients, bus passes, constructing and maintaining our facilities, and much more.
Help us make a difference in the communities where we live and work. Attend our events, help spread awareness of our services and donate as you are able. On behalf of the 10,000 clients we serve each year, we thank you!
